The Ultra Combo meter is the one right next to the Super Combo meter. The Ultra combo meter charges up when the player gets hit and so it can also be called a Revenge Meter. To Use a Super Combo or an Ultra Combo, the respective meters have to be full. However, only one Ultra can be selected at a time in a way similar to the Super Arts system in the Street Fighter III series. All characters feature at least two Ultra Combos. The Ultra Combo gauge and moves has been left unchanged since Street Fighter IV. Exclusive additions like Focus- Attacks and separate meters for both Super and Ultra Combos make a return. Much like Street Fighter IV, Super Street Fighter IV features 3D backgrounds and characters played on a 2D plane. If they're not going to ship, I guess I'm going to see if I can find another supplier and see how they price the kit.One of Super Street Fighter IV 's additional characters, Makoto, performing her Fukiage on Dan Hibiki. Wiring buttons is a snap I've done that many times.Īs far as how I was going to get the board, it was going to be through NCSX I hadn't heard that they were cancelling their import program. I'm going to do some more research on the JVS board. Anyway, if you decide to go this route, be sure to keep us updated.Thank you for the feedback. NCSX was going to, but their supplier got slapped on the hand by CAPCOM and now they won't sell anything other than the four board link set up. Have you priced the SFIV kit? I've not heard of anyone willing to sell single kits. Not a big deal but it would definitely be easier to find a JVS cab to start with. To run an X2 in a JAMMA cab would require a JVS to JAMMA convertor. You would have to wire the buttons correctly, of course, but it should be a piece of cake. Of the two cabs mentioned, a System 246 cab would be the best choice as it is already set up for a JVS board, so the X2 would plug right in.
